Sorry to hear about the passing of Bea. The boys & I were talking about the many memories we have when they were little. They remember the trip to Florida to move Grandma & Grandpa with the "Welcome to Grandma's" signs along the way. Not to mention the powdered donuts that flew around the back seat which caused Bob to miss the exit. This left Hal & I practically unloading the whole U-Haul by the time they got back on track! After that there were those 24 hour non-stop trips we made to see them. They still remember the rides on Grandma's three wheel bicycle, picking up a huge turtle, finding an armadillo in the backyard, fire ants & love bugs!Grandma would read books to them & rented a wrestling video for them to watch. This started them down the track of the WWF with Macho Man & the gang. And of course there was the surprise birthday party she planned at a Chuck E Cheese & we ended the night with gigantic ice creams! The memory I have is when I got saved & the church chose Bea to be my spiritual mentor for a 6 week program which lasted well over a year. It was a good time of reading & studying the Bible. It started me on my path of following Christ. It was a time of building a spiritual foundation in my life for the journey ahead of me. As a result of this sure foundation, I have been able to go through the ups & downs in life knowing that with Christ all things are possible. She was also the first one to encourage me to read good Christian books & gave me the "Pilgrims Progress" which I still cherish & will pass it on to my Grandchildren. So with this I say thank you Bea for those early years of my spiritual walk which have enabled me to become rooted & grounded in His love, to be confident that He is preparing a place for those who put their trust in Him. I'm sure you are enjoying your time now with your Mom (aka Grandma Good Cook) & her famous candy dish is probably waiting for Chad & Joel. What a day it will be when we look into the face of Jesus & proclaim "How Great Thou Art".Judy Hilsabeck
