Beatriz Hernandez's Obituary
Beatriz Hernandez (78) born in Camuy, Puerto Rico, on January 30,1943. On September 23, 2021, Beatriz, had passed peacefully in her home with her family by her side. She was the daughter of Don Juan Hernandez and Maria Vargas Arce. She had spent 61 years of her life here in the states, and has called Fort Myers her home for 5 years. Beatriz enjoyed knitting, dancing to Mariachi, spending time with her family, and eating her favorite treats. Even in her passing, she carried an admirably strong heart.
Beatriz is preceded in death by her parents, Don Juan and Maria and many of her dear siblings.
She is survived by her children: Iluminada Miller of Fort Myers, Eric M. Rivera of Ansonia Connecticut, Angel L. Cordero of Norwalk, Connecticut, and Carlos J. Arroyo. Two sisters Epifania Hernandez and Aurora Hernandez. Seven grandchildren; Nelson M. Cruz, Nixa, N. Torres, Cesar J. Reyes, Mariah Lane, Erica M. Rivera, Matthew A. Rivera, Amanda Schouanee, and five great grandchildren: Xavier, Nehemiah, Genesis, Enzo, and Nelly. Beatriz will be remembered for her strength and love of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed.
The family has entrusted Fort Myers Memorial gardens with Beatriz's funeral arrangements. A graveside service will be held at Fort Myers memorial gardens Cemetery on October 4, 2021 at 11AM.
