Ben Williamson's Obituary
“Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.” Psalm 116:15 KJV Ben Williamson, received his saint’s reward, and met his LORD SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST on Thursday, September 7, 2023. He is reunited with his wife, Deloris Williamson, who preceded him in death, and was his beloved bride for nearly 50 years. In addition, his treasured daughter, Alicia Williamson.
Ben was born, October 11, 1937, in Crum, West Virginia, to the late Henry and Lydia Williamson. He is also preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
Ben is survived by his daughters: Kimberly Williamson and Benita Richards (Jason); Grandchildren: Brandy Bennet, Frankie and Samantha Kamer, and Cameron Richards; Great-Grandchildren: Pheniox Long, Trinity Esteph, Skylar and Jenna Bennet; Brothers: Lundy and John B Williamson(Mickey); Sister: Beula Perry. Including numerous In-Laws, Nieces, Nephews, and friends.
Ben was a devout member of the Grove City Church of God in Grove City, Ohio, as well as, the Faith Center in Fort Myers, Florida. His servant’s heart included many contributions to his churches and communities. He was an avid sports fan, that included hunting with Beagles, playing softball, supporting all the children throughout sports, and watching the Buckeyes, Browns, and the Dodgers.
Ben never knew a stranger! His infectious energy, kindness, sense of humor, and unconditional love toward EVERYONE, will be deeply missed.
There will be a memorial service in Ben's honor held after church service on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at The Faith Center 17650 S Tamiami Trail Fort Myers , FL (239) 278-3638. Service is estimated to begin at 12PM.
Family and Friends are welcome to attend services at Connection Pointe Church of God formerly Grove City Church of God, 4325 Harrisburg Pike, Grove City, OH 43123
Calling hours are scheduled for Friday, 9/29/23, 6-8 pm; Funeral Service will be held Saturday, 9/30/23, 10am; Graveside interment following funeral at Grove City Cemetery West.
