Bertha M Hernandez's Obituary
Bertha M. Hernandez, 68, of Fort Myers passed away on May 5, 2024. Bertha was born January 31, 1956, to Timoteo Macias Vargas and Ernesta Rodriguez Hernandez in Havana, Cuba.
Bertha has called Florida her home since the early 1980’s. She lived in Southeast Florida, Miami, until 2005 when she relocated to Fort Myers, Florida, where she called home. During her years of employment, she was a physical therapist for an orthopedic surgeon, and, after almost 18 years, she switched from the medical field to be an insurance coordinator for Allstate, until 2004 when she retired to be a full-time grandmother!
Bertha is preceded in passing by her father, Timoteo Macías Vargas, and her brothers, Jesus Macias and Osvaldo Blanco.
Bertha leaves her loving memory with her cherished survivors, Napoleon O. Hernandez, her spouse of 52 + plus years, Isabella Sexto, her loving granddaughter, Naelene M. Webb and Dennis L. Webb, daughter and son-in-law, her mother, Ernesta Rodriguez, and sisters, Rosa Maria Macias, Rita Macias, and her brother, Orlando Blanco, in addition to many loving nieces and nephews.
Bertha’s family has entrusted Fort Myers Memorial Gardens with the tender care of her final arrangements. The family will accept visitors on Friday, May 10, 2024, at 2PM- 4PM and service is set to begin at 4PM. After her service there will be light refreshments.
