Betty Jean Collins' Obituary
Betty Jean Collins, 88, a resident of Fort Myers, FL since 1981, formerly of Immokalee, FL passed away Friday, September 3, 2021 under the care of Hope Hospice. She was born June 17, 1933 in Silver Creek, NY to the late Robert and Genevieve Johnson.
Betty enjoyed traveling, walking on the beach, going to the movies and experiencing a good book. Spending time with family and friends was her passion and delight. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Collins in 1997; as well as her two children, Jennifer Miller and Douglas Collins.
Betty is survived by her two loving sons, Randall Collins (Ellen) of Lehigh Acres, FL and Paul Collins (Michelle) of Tampa, FL; three adored grandchildren, Monika, Lauren and Riley; as well as several extended family members and friends.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated 1:00 PM, Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may me made to Hope Hospice, 9470 Healthpark Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908 in loving memory of Betty Jean Collins.
