Betty Joyce Curry, 82, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 13, 2025.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation in her honor on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Fort Denaud Cemetery.
Born March 28, 1942, in Fort Myers, Florida, Betty lived a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends. Her kindness and generosity touched countless lives, and her warm smile brightened even the gloomiest days. She possessed a gentle spirit and a remarkable ability to make everyone feel comfortable and cherished in her presence.
Betty found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was a passionate gardener, nurturing her vibrant flowerbeds with the same care and attention she bestowed upon her loved ones. Her green thumb produced bountiful harvests and breathtaking blooms, reflecting her own abundant spirit. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with her family, creating lasting memories that will forever be treasured.
Betty is survived by her loving husband, Cyril Curry; her children, Russell McPhee, Jr., Cynthia Benoit (Russell), and Lori Burns (Robert); sister, Shirley Berner (Ebbie); nieces, Tammy Suciu (Michael) and Jennifer Bernard; and nephews, Todd Lowe, Dennis Berner (Janet), James Berner (Mary), and Tim Davis.
She was preceded in passing by her parents, Melvin and Estelle Davis; and siblings, Carolyn Lowe and Bobby Davis.
