Betty Mae Gallman's Obituary
Betty Mae Gallman, 91, died at Hope Hospice of Cape Coral and entered her eternal rest with her Savior on November 19, 2018. She was born August 16, 1927 in Driver, VA to Garland and Teresa Jones, now deceased.She was married to George Gallman in 1948 and had two children, Carolyn Brooks (David) of Ft. Myers, FL and Bruce Gallman (Debbie) of N. Fort Myers, FL. She was blessed with four grandchildren, Jennifer Andrews, Todd Brooks (Zana Bayne), Darcy Anderson (Michael) and Kimberly Carver (Wayne) and three wonderful great grandchildren, Austin and Gwen Carver and Ariella Small. She is also survived by her brother, Samuel Jones (Ingeborg) of Peoria, AZ and two sisters, Gloria Alderman of Cape Coral and Irene Hanrahan of Rock Springs, WY.She was preceded in death by her brother, Gerald D. Jones and sister, Marie Tessier.Betty worked 30 years in the Water and Gas Department at Ft. Myers City Hall, retiring at 62. She was a member of Riverside Church for over 35 years, although her health prevented her from attending the last few years. Betty was a quiet, generous person who loved her family and Lord. She will be missed by all those who loved her.A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, November 26, 2018 at Ft. Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Ft. Myers, FL. Interment will follow at Ft. Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice or a Charity of your choice in loving memory of Betty M.
