Betty Jean Knopf's Obituary
Betty Jean Knopf (Aunt Bebe) of Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully on January 15, 2020 following some recent health challenges. She was 68 years old.
Betty was born on November 4, 1951 in Portsmouth, Virginia, the beautiful daughter to Goldie (Anderson) and William B. Moore. She was a longtime resident of Fort Myers and for over thirty years was the loving wife to Andrew Knopf who she leaves to cherish her memory.
Betty also leaves behind her children Betsy Apel (Stephen) of Franklin, NC, Rob Tolp (Tonya) of Naples, FL and Amanda Knopf of Clarksville, FL; her sisters Carol Moore of Lexington, KY and Brenda Mann of Fort Myers, FL; 8 beautiful grandchildren; 6 beautiful great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and countless others who were proud to meet Betty along life's journey and call her a friend. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all she met.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL. Friends may come and visit with the family from 12:00 PM until the memorial service at the funeral home.
