Betty Jean Porter, 101, of Cape Coral, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2019. She was born May 3, 1918 in Windsor, Canada, the daughter of Chauncey and Ruby (Nantau) Duffey. She moved to Florida from Clawson, MI in 1974. For many years, she worked as a Unit Secretary for Fort Myers Community Hospital.Mrs. Porter is survived by her children: Robert Monroe Porter, Jr., of Wolverine, MI and Patricia Ann Burns of Cape Coral; her grandchildren: Stacie Colwell, Aimee Burns, Richard Burns, Jr., Robert Porter, Joseph Porter and Paul Porter; her great grandchildren: Chase Colwell, Christopher Burns, Noah Burns, Richard Burns, III, Seth Burns, Abby Burns, Kayla Porter and Nathan Porter.
