Beverly Irene Varboncoeur's Obituary
Beverly Irene Varboncoeur of Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Sunday, November 4, 2018 following some recent health challenges. She was 80 years old.Beverly was born March 17, 1938 in Leroy, Illinois, the beautiful daughter of Eva (Eastham) and Denzel Jackson. She was married on June 16, 1956 in Bloomington, Illinois to Donald R. Varboncoeur. They moved to the Fort Myers area in 1974. Her first husband, a flight instructor at Page Field, died on January 25, 1977, due to a plane crash. Beverly became a widow a second time, to husband Frank Reese on July 17, 1981.Beverly was a citizen in the Fort Myers community for over 45 years. She worked at Southern Cablevision, Jones Intercable, and Comcast. In past years, she was a parishioner at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, and her children attended St. Francis School.She is survived by son, Donald Varboncoeur and his wife Denise Varboncoeur, a daughter Tonya Vieth and her spouse Charles Vieth. Beverly, has a grandson Charlie, who she adored. She will be missed by family and friends.A Memorial Service for Beverly will be celebrated by Deacon Rich Spiro at 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 8, 2018 inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. Guests will be received for an hour preceding this service beginning at 1:00 PM also inside the funeral home chapel.
