Billy Don Sears Jr.'s Obituary
Billy Don Sears Jr. is at rest after his quick battle with esophageal and GI cancer. He passed away peacefully at home in Cape Coral, FL surrounded by his children on July 6th. Billy would have would have turned 66 on July 13, 2026.
Billy is survived by his mother, Evelyn Marie Scott and his six children: Amber Ratz, Billy D. Sears III, Danny Sears, Jessica Sears, Jason Walker, and daughter-in-law Jennifer Sears. His two cherished Grandsons: Andrew Sears and Clarkston “Clarke” Sears-Zampino. Billy’s siblings: Anna Kinney-Gavin, David Sears, John Sears, and his five brothers-in-law: Stephen Ratz, Robert Ratz, John Ratz, James Ratz, and Bill Ratz; and he was beloved by his multiple nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Ratz Sears; Billy D. Sears Sr. (Father); and brothers George Sears and Edward Ratz.
Billy’s final wishes did not include a funeral service, but there will be a Celebration of Life on August 22, 2026 from 11am –1:00 pm at Paddywagon’s Irish Pub: 1431 SE 16th Place, Cape Coral, FL 33990.
