Bobby Ray Jones' Obituary
Bobby Ray Jones, 77, of Fort Myers, Florida and formerly of Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 3, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.Bob was born on January 9, 1939 in Corbin, Kentucky to the late Joseph L. and Effie J. Jones. Bob is survived by his loving wife Barbara L. Jones; daughters Jamie Polly (Michael), Tammy Jones (Kevin); brothers Harold Jones and Larry Jones (Sharon); sister Elizabeth Grey (Calloway); grandchildren Alicia Simmons (Matthew) and Jason Polly. Sadly he is predeceased by his brother Leonard Jones.Bob retired as a divisional manager from United Parcel Service after 35 years. He was a devoted husband and loving father. He was also an active member of the Gulf Coast Church of Christ. He loved playing golf and spending time with family.A Memorial Service for Mr. Jones will be celebrated by Randy Simmons, Minister of the Gulf Coast Church of Christ at 4:00 PM on Sunday, March 6, 2016 inside the church sanctuary at 9550 Six Mile Cypress, Fort Myers, Florida 33966, (239) 936-4554. Visitation will be held for two hours preceding the service beginning at 2:00 PM also at the church.
