Brian Cronshaw's Obituary
Brian Cronshaw, 78, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Lehigh Regional Medical Center in Lehigh Acres, Florida.?á Brian was born on the 30th of November 1932 in the UK.?á He was the last of five brothers and was very musical.?á He had his own band ?Ç£The Melody Four?Ç¥ and he and his brothers opened a Night Club and Casino in Whalley which is located in Northern England. He also owned a Night Club in Cala Gamba, Majorca, Spain. While doing his two year National Service, his visits to American Military Bases in England?á convinced him he needed to follow his dream to live in America.?á Eventually?áhe became a Broker and Board Member for the Lehigh Resort Club until his ill health forced his retirement.?á While at the Resort he and his wife June met and became friends with people from all over the world and today and today can still call them friends. After a long battle with heart surgery, Brian leaves behind his wife, June, his sons, Leslie, Paul and daughters-in-law, Margaret and Susan and family in England; his son, Gary and wife Kristine, his son Paul and his daughter Gail and her husband Lyndon.?á Grandchildren, James, Paul and Danielle and great grandchildren.?á His family in England is very large and loving, including Nephews & Nieces, there was always a large amount of hugging, kissing and love and of course music. His love for his deceased granddaughter Stephanie and his granddaughters, Lyndsey & Melissa and their children always brought him great?ácomfort and joy.?á His extended family in England, America, Peru and Canada were always in his heart.?á?áHe was always chasing some dream and he was a very fortunate man, because he made most of them come true…?á He was valiant to the end and his heart was mostly a happy heart and a generous one. He will be cremated at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home and his ashes will be taken home to Beetham, England in the Lake District.?á In lieu of flowers we are asking that you donate to the Salvation Army, who he always admired for their dedication to helping people. A Private Memorial for family & friends will be held at a later date.?á Thank You everyone, for your prayers and love during this sad time.
