I have known the entire family most of my life, and grew up with Brian with a few interruptions from moving around. Friend, classmate, neighbor he was good at all. My wife and I will remember Brian (WOO WOO) and his family in our prayers and will always be missed.
I attended Kelvin Grove Grade School in Lockport, Illinois with Brian back in the late 1960’s. Remember him always being upbeat with a smile on his face. He was a huge fan of the Monkees, and Brian always wore a knit stocking cap as Mike Nesmith always did.May you Rest In Peace old friend.
Kate- your friends at the Landings share your sorrow. We know how much your Dad meant to you and what a comfort you must have been to him. Our thoughts are with you and your family.
I was heartbroken when I heard the news earlier this week. 64 is way too young. I was shocked. I worked with Brian for 6 years at Crowther. He was a special man and we shared several mutual friends. I will never forget his kindness toward me. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends.
It was an honor to have him consider me a friend. He knew when to give me a perfectly timed joke, sound advise, or a well deserved kick in the butt. Crowther won’t be the same without him. I will miss him…
Kate, Kasey, Terry, Kathy, Maura and Megan, We feel so bad we are not with you at this difficult time. Please know we are with you all in spirit and know Brian is smiling down on you! Brian was always larger than life and was an amazing host and entertainer that started when we were all at Crystal! I remember him singing on the Merry Go Round and serenading all of us with that sly grin! He is loved as all of you are! Much love, Mark and Denise????????
You Definitely Will Be Missed! I Always Appreciated The Upbeat and Consistent Smile!
You tend to reflect more on happy memories when a person passes – having worked with, learned from and together enjoyed after hours celebrations with Brian, my time with was cut way too short .I immediately reflected on playing 18 holes in 45 minutes (cart didn’t stop and he was out over the ball) – sharing great wine (s) – learning how to measure a roof with just his walk (never repeat this process) etc. etc. etcIt was great getting to know you Brian – keep sending those recipe’s, my kitchen is always open!
Will miss you Brian. Prayers are with you and your family.
