Bridget Mary Ryan-Tenney's Obituary
Bridget Mary Ryan-Tenney, 51, passed away August 18, 2018 in Fort Myers, Florida. Loving wife of Chuck Tenney. She was born in Marlboro, Massachusetts to Jack Ryan and Mary Healey Ryan.Bridget lived her life on her terms, which for all that knew her meant you were going to laugh, be loved, protected, entertained, and likely have a gag played on you. Bridget loved many things. Her first love was her husband, Chuck, and her family. Her friends were also considered family and her friends felt likewise. She loved animals, especially her “babies”, which took priority over herself. She had this gift of drawing people to her and once they got a few minutes with her they weren’t letting go. Bridget loved Boston sports to a level that should be studied by historians. Bridget worked primarily in the medical field and was proud of her work in a Clinical trial as part of Harvard Medical School. She loved to travel, especially to New Orleans even though “I can’t find anything to eat!”She was a resident of Fort Myers, Florida, but Boston was her home, her identity and never let anyone go without knowing this. Bridget left us much too early, but she told those close to her she had the most amazing life ever imagined. Her amazing spirit touched so many and her spirit we will always remember and keep alive in us.Daughter of Mary Ryan and the late Jack Ryan. Beloved sister of Kathy Ryan, the late John Ryan, Karen Kelly, Kevin Ryan, Maureen Cronin and her husband Arthur, Patrick Ryan and his wife Laurie. Beloved Aunt of Justin and Gregory Bodington, Matthew Ryan and his wife Sandra, Nevin Cronin, Garrick Cronin and his wife Gina, Niece Shailyn, Great Niece Tatum, Sister and Brother-in-Law Michele and Rob Crouch, Nieces Jozie, Lainie, and Maggie Crouch.A Memorial Service for Bridget will be celebrated at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 25, 2018 inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. Friends will be received for an hour preceding this ceremony beginning at 1:00 PM also inside the funeral home chapel.
