Burton Norman Friedlander's Obituary
Mr. Burton Norman Friedlander of Fort Myers, Florida and Westlake, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, March 5, 2017 in the Trauma Center of Lee Memorial Hospital, Fort Myers, Florida. He was 81. Bud was born May 22, 1935 in Cleveland, Ohio; the beautiful son of the late Ralph and Gladys (Blaha) Friedlander. He was an owner/operator of his own grocery store, Right Price Mini Mart of Westlake, Ohio. Bud enjoyed traveling and camping in Fort Myers, Florida during the winter months. He was a long-time resident in the Woodsmoke Camping Resort, Fort Myers, Florida. He also served proudly as a veteran of the U.S. Navy. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Danielle. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Linnie Friedlander; their 3 children, Sherry Lynn Rutkowski (Richard), Jeffery Friedlander and Cindee Lee Bissonnette (Marc). Bud is also the loving grandfather of Kristen (Mark), Bryan, Nicole (Nick), Michelle (Mike), Deseray (Joe), Christopher (Brittany) and Matthew. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren. A memorial service is scheduled at 3pm, Monday, March 20, 2017 in the Recreation Hall of Woodsmoke Camping Resort 19551 S. Tamiami Trail, Fort Myers, Florida 33908.
