I was in the seminary at the same time Carl started with PIME. I was a freshman in high school. I think he was out of college at that point. Since Carl was from Brooklyn, there was never an idle moment. He really liked to jest about people from the Midwest. I was one of them. I recall he got me through that first year of high school with my bout of homesickness. Carl, rest in peace. Our mutual friend, Dennis DePaul told me you had passed away.
