Carmel F. (Manzi) McEneaney, 98, born 11/09/13 in Wayne, PA to Frances (O?ÇÖDonnell) and Dominic Manzi went home to her Savior appropriately on St. Patrick?ÇÖs Day 3/17/12.?á Carmel was a gifted pianist who warmed the hearts of family and friends every time her fingers touched those keys. She graduated from St. Katharine?ÇÖs High School, Wayne, PA on 6/10/32 and graduated from Misericordia School of Nursing 9/20/35. On August 13, 1937, Carmel married her loving husband of 42 years, James F. McEneaney of Jersey City, NJ.?á In 1944, Carmel & Jim, along with their three children moved from PA to Cleveland, OH 1960 would see them move to San Diego, CA, where Jim passed in 1969. Carmel?ÇÖs path then led her to reside in Las Vegas, NV; Lake Oswego, OR; Scottsdale, AZ (19 years) and lastly in Ft. Myers, FL?á Carmel was a huge sports fan of The Raiders, Yankees, Tiger Woods, Jim Plunkett and Eli Manning.?á Preceding Carmel in death were her husband, James and four siblings: Gerardo Manzi, Florence Ford, Lincoln Manzi and Romeo Manzi.?á Cherishing her memory are her children: James F. McEneaney, Jr (Agnes) of Annapolis, MD and Hobe Sound, FL; Toni Twiggs of Ft. Myers, FL, Katherine Valadez (Jose) of Portland OR; 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.?á Mass of Celebration of Life will be held March 31 @11:30 a.m. @ Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church, Ft. Myers. Interment by Fort Myers?áMemorial Gardens & Funeral Home.?á In lieu of flowers please make donations in Carmel?ÇÖs name to Hope Hospice, Healthpark.
