Carmen Cortes' Obituary
Carmen Cortes, 55, of Cape Coral, FL passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 under the care of Hope Hospice surrounded by her family. She was born December 15, 1964 in Puerto Rico to the late Jose and Perceveranda Morejon.
Carmen was an amazing woman and there are just not enough words to describe her. I love you mom, no more pain and your back with your man and son!
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pedro Juan Cortes and her son, Nelson Luis Garrido both in May of 2020.
Carmen is survived by her three adored children, Michael Garrido, Pedro Cortes and Christina Duncan; one sister, Marie Paredes; three brothers, Julio Morejon, Jose Morejon and Mickey Maldonado; six loving grandchildren, Addison, Tyrell, Seviiana, Ileana, Layla and Zaydin; as well as many extended family members and friends.
No formal services are planned at this time.
