Carol Sue Lawhon, 80, a lifelong resident of Fort Myers, passed away September 16, 2012.?áShe was born September 18, 1932 to the late Herman and Estell (Williams) Leffers.?á She married Ed Lawhon 65 years ago.?áThey spent most of that time running the L & S Market grocery store on Fowler.?áIt later became Ed?ÇÖs Foodway.?á?á Ed and Carol loved to travel in their motor home and visit with friends. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Ed; sons, Mark Lawhon and his wife Fonna of Fort Myers and Brent Forrest of San Antonio, Texas; brothers, Doyle Leffers of Los Angeles, California and Steven Leffers and his wife Rita of North Fort Myers; many nieces and nephews and a granddaughter, Rachel. There will be a visitation on Thursday, September 20th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd. Fort Myers, Florida 33907.?áFuneral service will be Friday at 10:00 AM also at the funeral home.?á Interment will follow in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
