Carol Jean Nelson's Obituary
Carol Jean Nelson of Largo, Florida and formerly of Fort Myers, Florida passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Saint Petersburg General Hospital following a recent illness. She was 76 years old.Carol was born on July 20, 1939 in South Elgin, Illinois, the beautiful daughter of Esther (Neilsen) and Clarence Roessler. She leaves behind her son David Nelson (Tara) of Lehigh Acres, Florida and her daughters Debra Petefish (Bobby) of Lehigh Acres, Florida, Susan Kienlen (Harry) of Seminole, Florida and Kathy Cross (Scott) of LaCrosse, Wisconsin; grandchildren D.J. Nelson of Lehigh Acres, Florida, Bryan Kienlen (Elyse) of Seminole, Florida and Michelle Kienlen of Seminole, Florida (and her significant other David Evans of Largo, Florida) and her sister Ellie Kolar (Thomas) of Fort Myers Beach, Florida.A Memorial Service for Carol will be celebrated at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 28, 2015 in the chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. Friends will be received at the chapel for an hour prior to the scheduled time of the service.
