Carol J. Sackett's Obituary
Carol J. Sackett of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 1, 2017 in Hope Hospice – Joanne’s House, Bonita Springs, Florida after some recent health challenges. She was 70. Carol was born June 15, 1946 in Adrian, Michigan; the beautiful daughter of the late Amos Barker-Hill and Lorene Hill. Deeply devoted to her family and her faith in Jesus Christ, she was an active member of First Assembly of God Ministries – Fort Myers, Florida. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Terri Lynn Hill. Carol is survived by her beloved husband of 50+ years, Michael J. Sackett and their four sons, Jeff (Jodi) Sackett, David (Dianne) Sackett, Mark (Alicia) Sackett and Brandon (Shannon) Sackett. She is also survived by her two brothers, Jerry Hill (Joanna) and Bob Hill (Diana) and thirteen loving grandchildren, Lindsay (Cole), Katie, Conner, Josh (Sandy), Tosha, Joey, Tiffany, Alexandra, Daniela, Brooke, Lily, Ciara, and Jayden. Carol is also the loving great grandmother of three great granddaughters, Bailey, Hannah and Hailey. She was a beloved wife, a devoted mother, dear sister and loving grandmother who will be dearly missed. Visitation will be held 12 noon until 2pm, followed by funeral services at 2pm, Saturday, June 10, 2017 in the chapel of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, FL 33907. Carol will be laid to rest in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fort Myers, Florida.
