Carole Anne Goffe Knopf's Obituary
Carole Anne Knopf, 89, a resident of Fort Myers, FL since 1969, formerly of Cuba at the Naval Base passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 under the care of Hope Hospice. She was born March 18, 1934 in Pawtucket, RI to the late Fred and Grace (nee Hunt) Goffe.
Carole retired from nursing after 50 years of service. She had a long time love of needlepoint and reading her Bible. Carole was preceded in death by her sister, Grace Chartier.
Carole is survived by her loving children, Andrew Knopf of Fort Myers, FL, Carole Knopf of Fort Myers, FL and Kristen Owens (Fred) of Columbia, SC; one sister, Marion Foshee (Gene) of Tampa, FL; two brothers, John Goffe (Gerie) of Hooksette, NH and Robert Goffe of Lincoln, RI; one brother-in-law, Robert Chartier of West Greenwich, RI; four adored grandchildren, Michael Owens, Amanda Knopf, Kristen Bradford-Reichenbecher and Sarah Bradford; several great grandchildren, as well as Andrew S. Knopf of Fort Myers, FL.
A Funeral Service will be Celebrated 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL. Graveside Services will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Pawtucket, RI.
