Carolyn I will miss you dearly….you always accepted me as your daughter even though I was a daughter in law, you were always there to lend a ear and advice when asked…many times you stepped in and helped or showed love when needed, without being asked, that I loved about you. I loved coming to visit you and eat your cooking….I learned alot from you….God took you too early and I will miss seeing you and talking….hugs and kisses…Love Penny
Sweet, kind, giving, caring are all words that apply to Carolyn as well as wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and my relationship with her as a friend. You could always count on Carolyn and she will be sorely missed. We can't believe she won't be there at Port Carlos Cove when we return. Love to the family. Kathy and Mike Becker
I know now the term…step-mother. She is the one who steps in and takes over when your birth mother can't. When she steps in she takes on many obstacles and challenges, for example, she takes on a broken family, full of heartaches and she bonds this family with her own broken family. She tries to make one family. Now we not only have step brothers and sisters, now she bonds this marriage and family, with a new child, we will call him ours. Now we have his, mine and ours, at this point we are a family. No more steps…just brothers and sisters…..Rest in peace now mom, we will all be together again!! Love you always Steve and Penny
I don't know how to express my sympathy but I will miss Carolyn so much. She meant so much to everyone. She was one of the sweetest and caring people I have ever met .May she rest in Peace.
She was a wonderful fun loving, talented, giving person. I have not forgotten all the times she came to my rescue on those Saterdays I worked and needed a babysitter for Amy.She was a wonderful sister-in-law and always willing to help even though she had her own big family to care for. My heart goes out to the family I know she will be missed.Pam Springer
I have so many memories of Grandma throughout my life I am not sure where to start. Many of my weekends were spent with Grandma and Grandpa at the house on Carls Rd. I can remember summer days when Grandma and I would walk to the Sweet Lake store for ice cream. I am not sure how old I was at the time, but I would go fishing from the bridge and I would run back to the house when I caught even the littlest fish and make Grandma take it off the hook for me. Grandma: You will be missed so much and will forever hold a very special place in our hearts. Rest in peace. We love you, Shane, Maka, Sofia & Ellie.
