Catherine E. Cope-Farrell's Obituary
Catherine E. Cope-Farrell, 82, passed away March 16, 2013. She was born June 20, 1930 in Yonkers, New York to the late Thomas and Catherine (Crawford) O?ÇÖBrien. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Eugene, Teddy and Patrick and a sister, Anna as well as husbands, William Cope and Thomas Farrell. She came to Lee County in 2005 from Bridgeport, Connecticut. She was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church, the Irish Club, Moose, VFW, Elks and Daughters of the American Revolution. Catherine was a avid bowler, loved to travel, shop, collect elephant statues and go to social meetings. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Maureen Stancarone of Bridgeport, CT; William Cope, Jr. and his wife Diana of New Rochelle, NY; Dale Limiero and her husband Robert of Cape Coral, Florida; and Wayne Cope and his wife Dawn of Verplank, NY; brother, Tommy O?ÇÖBrien and his wife Kay of Boise, Idaho; grandchildren, Nicole, William, Jeffrey, Joseph, Robert, Robin, Stephanie and Lauren; great-grandchildren, Jeffrey, Matthew, Karly and Jake; and several nephews and nieces particularly, Patricia Ocfemia; brother-in-laws, Sam Cope of Yonkers, New York and Tom Tierney of New York City, New York. Arrangements are being handled by Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
