Heaven just got a whole lot brighter. She will always be in our thoughts. She will be missed.
Wish we could have been there in person, but know that we were there in spirit and love. Our deepest condolences to you and the family. We have requested a Mass of Rememberence at the Greek Orthodox Church in our community for the soul of our dearly beloved Cathy Cox.
Dear Niki, Dina, Jon and Ron, We are saddened to hear of Cathy's passing. May her memory be eternal. Joy and John
Those who mean the most to us are never really gone, for in our thoughts and in our hearts their memory still lives on. Her kind ways and loving smile will live on in our hearts always. You were gone too soon, if I could rewind time I could see your smile, hear your laugh, give you a hug and tell you to have fun in heaven…the sun is shining a little brighter because God brought another angel home.
The Dash Ã?¢ââ??‰â?¬Å? Linda Ellis I read of a man who stood to speak At the funeral of a friend. He referred to the dates on her tombstone From the beginning..to the end. He noted that first came her date of birth And spoke the following date with tears, 1945-2011 But he said what mattered most of all Was the dash between those years. For that dash represents all the time That she spent alive on earth.. And now only those who loved her Know what that little line is worth. For it matters not, how much we own; The cars..the house..the cash, What matters is how we live and love And how we spend our dash. So think about this long and hard. Are there things you'd like to change? For you never know how much time is left, That can still be rearranged. If we could just slow down enough To consider whatÃ?¢ââ??‰â??¢s true and real, And always try to understand The way other people feel. And be less quick to anger, And show appreciation more And love the people in our lives Like we've never loved before. If we treat each other with respect, And more often wear a smile.. Remembering that this special dash Might only last a little while. So, when your eulogyÃ?¢ââ??‰â??¢s being read With your lifeÃ?¢ââ??‰â??¢s actions to rehash.. Would you be proud of the things they say about how you spent your Dash? Cathy spent her dash raising three amazing children and bringing happiness to people with her gernerosity and kindness. One of the last things I said to her was I would never let her grandchildren forget her and I will always make sure they know what a wonderful person she was. Love and miss you. xoxoxo
