Cecile M Winters' Obituary
Cecile M. Winters, beloved wife of Tom Winters, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 17, 2025, at the age of 90. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Cecile lived a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments spent with those closest to her. A devoted wife, she dedicated her life to caring for her family, providing unwavering support and creating a warm and loving home. She was known for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering commitment to those she loved.
Beyond her family, Cecile enjoyed a vibrant social life, finding joy in friendly competition and engaging conversation. Many happy hours were spent playing mahjong with dear friends, striking down pins at the bowling alley, and engaging in lively – and often spirited – political discussions with family, always sharing her perspectives with thoughtfulness and respect. The click of Scrabble tiles and the challenge of the game brought her further pleasure, a testament to her quick wit and sharp mind.
Cecile is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Thomas Winters; daughters, Linda Miskiewicz and Kim Woulas (Bill); grandchildren, Karalyn Woulas, Christina Sargent (Justin), Alex Woulas, Eric Hopkins (Alexis), Emily Hopkins, and Adam Hopkins (Meg); and great-grandchildren, Abner, Alton, Logan, Peyton, Alex, William, Elizabeth, Katya, James, Elijah, and Coralia. She was preceded in passing by her parents, Alfred and Irene (Fortier) Flagg; sisters, Jeanette Allard and RoseMarie Hayden; and children, Lawrence Marc and Dawn Lee Winters.
She will be remembered not only for her many accomplishments but also for the profound impact she had on the lives of everyone she touched. She leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and cherished memories that will endure for generations to come.
A Funeral Mass is to be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 5330 Babcock Street, Palm Bay, Florida. Burial will be in Westboro, MA at the convenience of the family.
