Charles "Chuck" Edward Flynn's Obituary
Charles “Chuck” Edward Flynn of North Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 following a lengthy illness and a period of convalescence. He was 83 years old. Chuck was born on April 10, 1936 in Norfolk, Virginia and moved to Fort Myers in 1960 where he worked numerous professions. His last career and passion was working as an automotive salesperson. He was married to Virginia “Ginny” Flynn who sadly preceded him on November 15, 1995. Chuck loved to fish, especially for “crappie” on Lake Okeechobee and he loved eating them even more.Chuck is survived by his two sons Charles (Karen Vickers ) Flynn and Mark (Cathy) Flynn and one brother Buck (Beverly) Flynn. Five Grandchildren, Jenia Flynn, Chelsia Flynn, Jessica Flynn, Dalton (Bailey) Flynn and Delaney Flynn and Five Great Grandchildren.Immediate funeral ceremonies are private. Arrangements for Chuck’s final care have been entrusted to Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555.The family is planning a Celebration of Life for Chuck which will take place at a future date. Please check with a family member for more information about this service. Chuck will thereafter be laid to rest alongside his dearly departed wife Ginny inside the Hall of Crucifixion located at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Fort Myers.
