Charles Edward Peavoy's Obituary
Charles Edward Peavoy, 87, of Estero, Florida passed away on May 19, 2013 at the Life Care Center of Estero following a brief illness. Mr. Peavoy was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on April 1, 1926, a son of the late Dallas Peavoy and Orpha Hoover Peavoy. Charles retired after 35 years of faithful and dedicated service from New York Telephone Corp. as a District Manager. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving with the Army?ÇÖs 47th Infantry Division and received a Purple Heart. Preceding him in death besides his parents were a brother and two sisters. He had resided here since 1983 coming from Elma, Erie County, New York. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 66 years, Sally E. Peavoy of Estero, FL; his children, Dolores Young (Gene Cramer) of Ava Marie, Florida and Denise (Gregory) Kalbach of East Aurora, New York; his grandchildren, Dr. William C. Young, Stephen Kalbach and Russell Kalbach. A Memorial Service will be held at a time and place to be announced.
