I've known Chuck & Irene and family for many years, our sons went to schooltogether. My son Stuart & Denny were even on the USS Nimitz together! Theirstation was certainly a fixture nestled between the Whiskey Creek Bridge andthe Fire station. The past few years I would see them while shopping at Sam'sClub. Chuck will be missed, a kind hard working family man. My thoughts andprayers are with the family………Jinya D'India

When I heard that Dad passed away, I felt I needed to tell you how sorry I am . I know it has been many years since I have seen or talked to any of you, but I wanted you all to know that I have many fond memories of him. I had a hard time deciding to write this, but even though we all parted abruptly, no time can take away the good memories.Sincerely,Susan K. Mitchell
Chuck was a neighborhood fixture with his station on McGregor. He was always honest and always busy, but never too busy to say Hi. He was a volunteer at McGregor Baptist as a driver for the golf carts to help those whoneeded a ride or were going to be late. I will tell you that when you got in his cart, you better hang on. He was very efficient about getting you to the right place- in a hurry!!God bless Irene and his children as they grieve his absence for now. He lived a life that let you know that he loved His Savior, Jesus Christ.Sincerely,Sue and Dick Ackert
