Charles D. Howard's Obituary
Charles D. Howard, 88, of Lehigh Acres, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2022. He was born June 15, 1934 in Erie, Peensylvania to Harold and Luella (Hardy) Howard.He moved to Florida from Erie in the late 1950's. He proudly served in the United States Army. He retired from United Telephone Company after many years of service and then owned and operated Charlie Howard Well Drilling Company for many years.
Mr. Howard is survived by his wife, Genevia (Merritt) Howard; his children: Linda Robin Tisch (David) of Anckorage, Alaska, Pamela Jean Pletcher (Steve) of Lehigh Acres and Robert Charles (Bobby) Howard (Linda) of Arcadia, Florida. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild.
Private memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
