Charles Robert Olson, 71, of North Fort Myers passed peacefully on Thursday, July 6th, 2023. Charles was born September 29, 1951, to Archie and Eleanor (Bennett) Olson in Kewanee, Illinois.
Charles and his wife Lorie have called Florida their home for 9 years. Moving from Indiana
Charles (Chuck) had worked at Wilson Foods In Logansport IN. where is meet his wife, Lorie. They were married in the Christian Church in Monticello IN on March 30th 1991. Chuck was a 1969 graduate of Rowva High School
Chuck attended Tulsa University from 1969-1974, graduating with a degree in Business. Chuck retired from Fairfield Mfg (Orleikon) in Lafayette IN. in the summer of 2013. Chuck was an avid Nascar, Football & Basketball fan. He taught & coached his son's T-ball baseball team. He also liked to go camping & fishing when growing up in Illinois. He loved to travel, He loved to watch his son Bowl.
Charles is preceded in passing by his parents & stepmother Phyllis Olson, & a Great niece
Charles leaves his loving memory with his survivors, wife Lorie, his son Erik (wife Jessica) Two granddaughters, Bristal & Maren.
Two sisters Anita Ennis of Galesburg IL, and Patricia Marsoon of Knoxville IL. His Father & Mother-in-law Edward & Linda Terry of Monticello, IN. Three brothers in laws
Rick (Deb) Stoller of Monticello, IN Jim (Peggy) Stoller of Spring Hill TN & John (Angie) Stoller of Burnettsville IN. Charles also had several nieces & nephews.
There will be a celebration of Charles's life at a later date.
