Charles Wayne Ormsby's Obituary
Charles Wayne Ormsby, 81, of Fort Myers, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013. He was born January 28, 1932 in Indianapolis, IN and moved to Fort Myers from Zionsville, IN in 1980. He was a Marine Corps veteran during the Korean War. He owned and operated an advertising agency in both Indianapolis and Fort Myers. He was a member of the Church of the Cross in Fort Myers. Mr. Ormsby leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 48 years, Patricia Ormsby; his step-son, James Elliott Andrews (Susan) of Nashville, TN; his children: Cathy Moore (John) of Upland, IN, Christie Robertson (Lee) and Lisa Elst (Peter), both of Indianapolis, IN. Also surviving are several grandchildren, including: Morgan Andrews, Caroline Andrews and Holland Andrews. Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Church of the Cross, 13500 Freshman Lane, Fort Myers (corner of Daniels Parkway and Freshman Lane). Memorial contributions may be made to Organ Transplant Recipients of Southwest Florida or to Church of the Cross.
