Charles Daniel O'Rourke's Obituary
Charles Daniel O’Rourke, Jr., 58, of Fort Myers, died Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Gulf Coast Medical Center. Cremation rites are to be accorded. Private Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date. Memorials have been suggested to the National Rifle Association. Charles was born October 2, 1956, in Lawrence, MA, the son of Charles Daniel and Jane (Sullivan) O’Rourke. He married Meryl Warshaw on July 4, 1992 in Rutland, VT. He was an insurance salesman and served with TZ Insurance Solutions. Charles was a gun enthusiast and was a member of the National Rifle Association. He participated in many shooting competitions. He was also an avid fisherman and motorcyclist. He was an accomplished at skiing and served as a race coach. Charles leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Meryl; children, Casey O’Rourke of Fort Myers, Caitlin O’Rourke of Boston, MA, Charles O’Rourke of Tampa, FL; and sister, Ann Burke and her husband Mickey of Sarasota, FL.
