Charles Graham Ryan, Sr. 84, of Fort Myers, FL, passed away March 21, 2015 in Fort Myers. Funeral mass will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Chruch of the Resurrection, 8121 Cypress Lake Dr., Fort Myers, FL 33919. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 25, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907. Cremation rites will follow services. Memorials: American Heart Association. Charles was born October 1, 1930 in Watertown, MA, the son of Timothy S. and Mary Agnes (Graham) Ryan. He married, his wife of 65 years, Mary Margaret McDonnell during 1950 in Cambridge, MA. Charles earned an engineering degree from Northeastern University. He worked for MIT and later became a sales representative for Eastern Appliance CO, that he had owned and operated. He loved sailing and has sailed from Cape Cod to Cape Coral and Cuba. He was an avid tennis and squash player. Charles is survived by his wife, Mary M. Ryan; his children Margaret Mary Cerullo and her husband Terrance, Sr. of Cape Coral, Charles Graham Ryan, Jr of Cape coral, Paul Christopher Ryan and his wife Jackie of Cape Coral; sister, Evelyn Dunne of Stoneham, MA; six grandchildren Shannon, Erin, Terrance, Jr. , Carlee, Patrick and Michael. He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Michael Ryan, Lawrence Ryan, Timothy Ryan; granddaughter, Jaimee Lincoln; siblings, William Ryan, John L. Ryan, Lawrence Ryan, Catherine Ryan and Mary G. Molloy. The Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Ryan.
