Charles Walter Turner's Obituary
Charles Walter Turner, 82, of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away on May 28, 2026.
He was born on September 5, 1943, in Lakewood, Ohio, to the late Raymond and Betty (Arnold) Turner. Charles was originally from Strongsville, Ohio, and relocated to Fort Myers in 2002.
Charles was a devoted member of the Catholic faith and a parishioner of St. John XXIII Catholic Church. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Science degree from Dyke College.
He had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed golfing, bowling, and playing bocce in his leisure time.
Charles is survived by his beloved wife, Susan (Lawry) Turner; his son, Charles S. Turner and his fiancé Laura of Cincinnati, Ohio; his son, Scott Michael Turner and his wife Tamara of Milliken, Colorado; as well as three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
All services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
