Charles Selvester Tyeryar's Obituary
Charles Selvester Tyeryar, 82, passed away January 9, 2014. He was born January 7, 1932 in Frederick, Maryland to the late Charles Augustus and Catherine Irene (Boone) Tyeryar. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, James, Lawrence and Harry; and his sister, Mary.Charles moved to Lee County on June 14th, 1967 from Baltimore, Maryland. He was a builder in residential construction in Lee County for over 20 years. He was a member of the Moose and the Elks and enjoyed ballroom dancing and roller skating with his wife.Left to cherish his memory, are his wife of 63 ?? years, Gloria of North Fort Myers; children, Nancy Czapiga and her husband Randall of Cape Coral; Dennis C. Tyeryar and his wife Patricia of Fort Myers; Bonita Sue Clifton of North Fort Myers; Sandra Lea Lappas and her husband Tony of North Fort Myers; Sylvia Jean Derheim and her husband Ron of Temple, Georgia; and Mark Kevin Oates of Canton, Georgia; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.There will be a visitation on Monday, January 13, 2014 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 7:30 PM.Memorial contributions may be given in Charles’ honor to Hope Hospice at www.hopehospice.org/donate.
