Charlotte A. Maxwell of North Fort Myers, Florida passed away suddenly at home on Friday, September 19, 2014, she was 81 years old.Charlotte was born on October 17, 1932, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of Sarah Lee Frances (Parsons) and Leslie Ray Albertson. She is preceded in death by her loving husband John E. Maxwell and son Daniel Lee Maxwell. She is survived by her daughters Sharron Drury of North Fort Myers, Jacqueline Maxwell of Punta Gorda, 4 grandchildren, James Drury (Melissa) from Georgia, Jarrod Drury (Emily) of Fort Myers, Danielle Muntean (Ryan Spano) of Punta Gorda and Skylar Muntean of Punta Gorda. Charlotte also had 4 great grandchildren, Ava and Jett Drury and twins Austan and Berkley Spano. She also leaves behind many relatives in Plainfield and Avon, Indiana.A Visitation will held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Thursday, September 25, 2014 in the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907. A Memorial Service, also in the chapel, will be held immediately following the Visitation at 7:00 PM. Charlotte will thereafter be laid to rest Friday morning during a private ceremony in the Mausoluem by the Garden of the Good Shepherd at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.Those who wish to offer a tribute in honor of Charlotte or leave condolences for the family are urged to visit her memorial webpage at www.fortmyersmemorial.com and sign the guestbook.
