Cheryl Lynn?áBlackburn, age?á53 of Cape Coral passed?áaway on May 7, 2012. Formerly of Swartz?áCreek, Michigan, Cheryl?áwas a resident?áof Cape Coral since 1978. She obtained her Bachelors degree?áof business. She was an active member in the following organizations, Ladies Auxiliary of the?áVFW and American Legion, Moose Lodge of Cape Coral, Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Elks of Cape Coral. Survivors include, Husband, Ron Blackburn of Cape Coral; Mother, Wilma Boyer-Gross and Step-father Rupert Goss of North Fort Myers; Brother, Dan Boyer of Tomball, Texas; Sister, Kimberly Lester of Spring, Texas; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins; 1 great-niece and 1 great-nephew and many, many friends. A Celebration of Life?áwill be held at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens on Friday, May 11, 2012 from 5-6pm, Service will?ábegin at 6 pm with Pastor Cheryl of The Grace Methodist Church in Cape Coral officiating. There will be a Memorial Service for Cheryl held on Monday, May 14, 2012 at 6pm at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Cape Coral. Memorial Contributions may be directed to the American Legion Auxiliary?áScholarship Fund?á and Hope Hospice.
