Chester A. Pepponi's Obituary
Chester (Chet) Pepponi went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 in Estero, Florida. He was 94 years old. Chet was born in Florence, NJ and lived most of his life in Burlington City. He was a WWII veteran, Governor of the Burlington Moose and a devoted member of the Elks Lodge and Roma Club. He was a longtime employee of Florence Pipe & Machine Co. in Florence, NJ. He retired at the age of 81 from Lucas Ford in Burlington, NJ, Chet loved taking trips to Atlantic City with his wife Dora. He was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan and never missed watching a game on TV. He was a great ?Ç£Pop Pop?Ç¥ and his grandchildren were the light of his wife. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 71 years, Dora (D?ÇÖEustachio); his son Chipper (Jo Ann) of Estero, FL, with whom he resided; grandson, Mark (Amie) Pepponi, granddaughter, Stephanie (Jason) Wilson; four great grandchildren, Jacob and Mia Pepponi and Tyler and Bradley Wilson; and many loving nieces, nephews, close friends and family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 11:30 AM at Our Lady of Light Catholic Church in Estero, Florida.
