Mrs. Knudsen was part of my life for many year. They were neighbors and when I spent time at their house hanging out with Christie Carol and Mrs Knudsen always made me feel at home. She came to our house often to lay bridge with my mom. She will be remembered as a kind,easy going soul. I hope she didn’t suffer in the end. Sorry for your loss Christie

Mrs Knudsen was a dear friend of my Mother, Betty Hendry. She was so sweet to visit Mother in hospice and always a friendly face to run into her in Ft Myers. She was a special lady.
During high school days we all spent many many afternoons at the Knudsen home where we enjoyed wonderful conversations with Mrs. Knudsen, delicious cookies, lots of laughs, and we benefitted from the love and joy she shared. As young women in the late 60’s Mrs. Knudsen set an example for us of how to fill every moment of life with purpose and appreciation. She will remain long and strong in my happy memories of Fort Myers.
