Luke, How does one start writing in this guest book. I honestly don’t know. My first thoughts are to say how incredibly honored I am to have been part of your life. looking back these past few days at all the pictures of you as a child, and throughout your life, it goes without saying that you were wicked cool from day one. And I got to share that with you. I am grateful. Your spirit was infectious and your soul was as it good as it gets. In your way too short 22 years, you accomplished so much and we are all so proud of the man you became and for serving our country as an Airborne Ranger. You have made us all so proud. One of the things your mom told me was how important it is to relish in who you were, what you gave, and how many people’s lives you touched along your journey. Rather than be sad for too long. I am going to spend the rest of my life telling your story to many. It a powerful one. And one that will and does prove that “YOU CAN” if you want it. I am so very grateful to you for the role model you have set for your brother Caleb and sister Julia. I hope and pray they continue to follow in your foot steps of greatness. And project the “Warrior” mentality and project the high level of integrity and character that you did every day. You’ll be dearly missed and you will be celebrated in every way on every day. I didn’t realize that I wouldn’t have the chance to hug you or shake your hand again. So your pictures, old and current will forever be a reminder, and your legacy will live on for all of my days. Until we meet again on the other side. I love you young man. I love you Christopher Luke Lowder. Fly with the Angels.
