Christopher L. Mailloux's Obituary
Christopher L. Mailloux, 27, of Fort Myers, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2023. He was born September 4, 1996 in Fort Myers and has been a lifelong resident. He graduated from Cypress Lake High School in 2015 with honors. He joined the Civil Air Patrol at age 12 and went on to win the highest award given, the Billy Mitchell Award. He was also a member of the JROTC and was the first high school junior to become Battalion Commander. He went on from high school to Florida Gulf Coast University where he recieved his Bachelor Degree in Software Engineering in 2019 and had the highest GPA in his class. Following graduation he worked as software engineer for Call Miner. Another of his many accomplishments was being inducted into the U.A. Whitaker College of Engineering.
Christopher is survived by his parents, Brian and Dana (Allen) Mailloux of Fort Myers; his maternal grandmother, Beverly Miller; his paternal grandparents, Stanley and Bettie Mailloux; his sister, Aimee Marcinkowski and his nephew, James “JJ” Marcinkowski, Jr. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, cousins and exteneded family.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 15, 2023 in the chapel of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Friends will be received from 12:00 PM until the time of the service.
