Moose, I've sat here and read all these things folks had t say about you. It is to no surprise that all of them contain how you made them laugh. I am so very lucky to count you as one of my friends. May not have known you as long or well as these life long friends, but I knew the real you. I think anyone that came into contact with you probably did as well. You were a welcomed addition to the dent world. Your honesty, sincerity, and most of all your word was gold! So much of that is missing in the world today. You shared with me your love for your family and the Lord! It is for this reason I am not devistated that you are gone from this world, because I will get to enjoy you when we reunite in Heaven!!! God took you in his time….it was too short for all of us. I Love you my Brother and l'll see you soon!!

Moose was the very first training officer I came in contact with at LCSO. Just a great man! Over the last 15 years he has proven to be a great friend who loves his family and friends! Hey Moose…I was gonna man up this year and try your famous frog legs… lol. Hold things down up there til we meet again. There will never be another Moose! Love you brother.

Moose and I were both on nightshift together, he and I would laugh all night! We set car to car and ate meals together and often met up for coffee. One night a snake was on a wall at a gas station, Moose used his taser light to aggravate it. Since we both HATED snakes, I stayed clear as he told me Becky is the one in their house to handle snake incidents, Moose crept closer and I went behind him and screamed and pushed him towards the snake… poor Moose screamed louder then me and ran so fast backwards he fell over the parking curb. Mind you we were both in uniform and all we could do is full belly laughs leaning over the patrol car! I am sure it was a sight to see! I still laugh thinking of that night. I will miss him much. One thing he always talked about was the love for his family, he truly felt loved and blessed with a great family.

I can not count how many times I would pull up next to Moose and he would say "this is a chuck and moose talk" 99% of them I would never repeat but the many I will is what his family meant to him. The people that know Moose were blessed to know him in that way. Family was his world he lived life for them. I myself am a better person to be able to call him my friend. Becky if you need something call. He will be missed but never forgotten. Rest In Peace my friend… love ya bro! Oh and to clear the air yes it was a persute!!! But as always I got ur back as you had mine!!!

Chris and I were best friends in the early to mid 80's. We were neighbors in Arlington. He was a fierce friend…strong of heart and of opinion. Neither of us had a lot of friends but there was us. Chris joined my Boy Scout troop and we went on many campouts. We had each others back. We had our share of fights with others by if one of us got in an altercation, the other of us either jumped in if needed or made sure no one else did. His parents….Linda and Steve "adopted" me as one of their own. I had many meals with them and they brought be along to many of their forays to different flea markets. We had hooked back up after high school before I left for the Navy….and if I recall right, he was already starting his path in law enforcement or fire service. I once imaged becoming his brother in law…thinking I once had a chance with his step-sister.Condolences to his loved ones. So long Chris…you filled your life with family. Until we meet again….Rigel

I count Moose as one of my best friends, and I love him like a brother and he knew it. When I was his Captain in the East District it seemed like everyone coming in my office started their conversation with "Moose said" or "Moose did" or "Moose didn't." He came in to talk almost every day and the next time he popped in I said to him "Why does every conversation in this office start with Moose! We laughed like hell and had a good conversation about it. I miss you already buddy, love ya and I will see you on the other side.
