Claire Lovett Whitlock, 89, passed away November 12, 2011 in Berlin, Maryland.?áShe was born August 7, 1922 in New Jersey to the late Lenton and Mary (Naylor) Lovett.?áIn addition to her parents, Claire is preceded in death by her husband, John R. Whitlock, Jr. and her son, John Randolph Whitlock. She is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline (Clifford) Warden of Maryland; sons, Marc (Roberta) Whitlock of Washington and Gregory Whitlock of Maryland; sister-in-law, Virginia (John) Maddock; grandchildren, Tiffany, Michael, Kristin and Bryan; great-grandchildren, Jennifer, Courtney, Brooke, Billy, Caden, Conner, Chandler, Emma, Abigale and Busiewe. Mrs. Whitlock came to Fort Myers back in 1983 from Lanham, Maryland.?áShe moved back to Maryland in 2001.?áShe loved to swim, travel, water aerobics, and loved time with her family.?áHer family was her life. There will be a graveside service on Friday, November 18, 2011 at 10:00 am at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
