Clara Louise Ogle's Obituary
Clara Louise Ogle of Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 while under Hospice care for some recent health challenges. She was 87 years old.Clara was born on September 13, 1932 in Pahokee, Florida, the beautiful daughter to Mary B. (Levins) and Hayward Baxter. She worked for many years as a Registered Nurse and concluded her career with Lee Memorial Health System after helping to establish the new Health Park Medical Center where she later retired as Vice-President of Nursing.Clara leaves to cherish her memory her treasured daughters Myra Louise Jensen and Mary Ellen Harper; her loving son John Steven Ogle; beloved grandchildren Mark Jensen, Britney Jensen, Sophia Jensen and James Harper Jr.; and her four treasured great-grandchildren; Adeline, Brantley, Amelia and Brooks. Clara also leaves behind a number of extended family members, countless friends and many others who were proud to know Clara along life’s pathway. She will be warmly remembered and fondly missed by all she knew.A Funeral Service for Clara will be celebrated by Pastor Eddie Spencer of New Hope Presbyterian Church at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 29, 2019 inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. Guests will be received for Visitation for an hour preceding this ceremony beginning at 1:00 PM also inside the funeral home chapel. The Nightingale Society will honor Clara with a memorial service in recognition of her career in nursing at 1:30pm. At the conclusion of services, guests will recess to adjacent Memorial Gardens Cemetery where Clara will be laid to rest inside the Gethsemane Garden.
