Clarice L. Kunnus' Obituary
Clarice L. Kunnus of North Fort Myers, Florida, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, May 19, 2016 after some recent health challenges. She was 80. Clarice was born January 12, 1936 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to the late Edward Hugh and Gertrude Opal McGillivray. She worked as cook and an owner/operator of her own restaurants before moving to Florida 16 years ago. Clarice was a strong woman who was deeply rooted in her Christian faith. She was a loving mother, sister and grandmother who loved her family and played the piano beautifully. She will be sorely missed. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. William Allen Kunnus (July 1, 1984). Clarice is survived by her four children, Glory Ziccardi, Kathryn Diane Kunnus, Shirley Brown and William Edward Kunnus. She is also survived by her fianc??, Karl Koenig and her two sisters, Nellie Gullings and Sharon Heldt. Clarice is the loving grandmother of ten grandchildren; Tammie, Steven, Vanessa, Gina, Warren, Gabriel, Cristal, Ricoh, Anthony and Paul. She is also a great grandmother to seventeen great grandchildren; Hannah, Gavin, Malorie, Aubrie, Emily, Dominick, Cameron, DeMarco, Gabriella, Malachi, Alexandria, Angelica, Tavion, Terel, Jr., Princess, Rhegan and Averik. A memorial visitation will be held 3pm – 5pm followed by a memorial ceremony / celebration of life at 5pm, Monday, May 23, 2016 in the chapel of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, FL 33907.
