Al Delago
Uncle Bob and Aunt Claudia, were one of the first people my family met when we moved to Ft Myers from Minnesota, and they quickly became Uncle and Aunt, but truly were more than that. They were a second set of parents to all us Delago kids and grandparents to our children. Always wonder full to talk to and learn from. From learning about gardening, diving for lobster, fishing, get togethers, cook outs, making home made sausages and home made ice cream, talking to them if we couldn't talk to our parents, times when they would baby sit our children which they loved. They were friends and family to everyone. I remember, my dad and I and Uncle Bob (not sure who else was there) but went wade fishing one night. Man felt great when I felt I got a big hit. only to find out it was Uncle Bobs pants!!! We were lure fishing that night. Aunt Claudia, and others made all the food and decorations for our wedding reception. There was never any time, that you could not count on Aunt Claudia or Uncle Bob to be there when something was needed. They were never friends, they were always family, along with Terry and Bruce, a family you could always count on when help was needed or just someone to share with. They are missed, but I have to believe that now all are together again, Aunt Claudia, Uncle Bob, Bruce, Mom, Dad, Uncle Don and Aunt Dorie. Life will never be the same for those left behind, but our world was always wonderful when they were with us.
