Clyde R. Varner, 88, of Fort Myers, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2010.?á He was born October 26, 1922 in Enterprise, OR and moved to Florida from Vernon, CT in the mid-80?ÇÖs.?á He was an Army Veteran of World War II where he served in the Pacific Theatre.?á He was a member of the V.F.W., was very active in Train Room at Shell Point Village and was a member of the Fort Myers Congregational United Church of Christ.?á He retired in 1980 from Pratt-Whitney United Technologies with over 30 years of service. ?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á Mr. Varner is survived by his daughter, Diane L. Johnson (Edward) of Claremont, NH; his grandchildren: Kimberley Johnson, Dawn Hall (Nick) and Deborah Ehrlich (David); his great grandchildren: Justin Hall, Jared Hall and Katelyn Ehrlich and one sister Winona Fisk of Springfield, VA.?á He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty W.
