Colin Roy Delpi's Obituary
Colin Roy Delpi of Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, April 15, 2024. He was 80 years old.
Colin was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on September 16, 1943, the proud son to Elaine (Colin) and Roy Delpi. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and after completing his military service, Colin serving as a Clerk at the U.S. Postal Service.
He is survived by his son Christopher Delpi of Belair, MD and his son-in-law Cole Newton and daughter-in-law Patricia Costello and Brad Newton. He is also survived by many grandchildren and other extended family members. Sadly, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Toby Jean Delpi who passed away in 2021.
A Funeral Service for Colin will be celebrated by Deacon Jim Tesoriero at 1:30 PM on Friday, May 24, 2024 inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. Friends are welcome to gather for a half-hour preceding this ceremony beginning at 1:00 PM also inside the funeral home chapel. At the conclusion of the funeral service, Military Funeral Honors will be offered by the United States Army Honor Guard following which he will be laid to rest alongside his wife Toby at the Cremation Garden located inside the Sylvan Terrace Section of the Cemetery.
